Barry Lynn Whitehead was born on August 22, 1963 in Dublin, Texas. He went to be with his LORD on June 22, 2015 at the age of 51. He was the son of George Weldon Whitehead and Mary LaNell (Davis) Whitehead. He was preceded in death by his son, Britian Tyrell Whitehead and his mother, Mary LaNell Whitehead.

He is survived by his sons, Lesleigh Aaron Whitehead of Midland, Texas and Zane Weldon Whitehead of Hico, Texas; his daughters, Lauren Ashleigh Whitehead of Ft. Worth, Texas and Courtney Marie Whitehead of Hico, Texas; his father & step-mother, Weldon and Mary Ann Whitehead of Dublin, Texas; his sister, Karen Whitehead of Stephenville, Texas; his granddaughter, Jayden Lynn Weir of Stephenville, Texas; and his step-sisters, Cindy Watson of Dublin, Texas and Cheryl Anderson of Mission, Texas and a niece, nephew, cousins and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Barry worked in the paving and construction business and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin.
