Angel Vasquez, born on May 5, 1941, in Guanajuato, passed away on September 18, 2026.

Angel will be remembered with deep love for the life he built around the things that mattered most to him. He was known for his immense love of riding horses and trail rides, and he found great joy in the outdoors. He was also an avid gardener who loved his plants. Above all, Angel cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose presence brought him lasting happiness.

He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory forward with gratitude. He is survived by his daughters, Alba Vasquez and her husband, Ausensio Paredes, and Juanita Vasquez and her husband, Bayardo Baca. He is also survived by his sons, Martin Vasquez and his wife, Janet Vasquez, and Julio Vasquez and his wife, Beatriz Vasquez. Angel’s legacy continues as well through his beloved grandchildren: Lusinda Hernandez, Claudia Medina, Julie Mendoza, Jesse Medina, Ernan Vasquez, Thomas Parades, Celest Solano, Jorge Paredes, Joel Vasquez, Alexa Vasquez, and Arisbeth Torres and numerous great-grandchildren and other extended family. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Valeria Vasquez, and his father, Porfirio Vasquez, and six siblings. 

A Visitation and Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. A Mass in honor of Angel will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 12286 U.S. 377, Dublin, Texas 76446.

Angel will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His love for family, his enjoyment of horses and trail rides, and the care he gave to his garden will remain a lasting part of the memories he leaves behind.
