Alma "Sally" Irene Jackson of Weatherford, Texas returned home to her Lord and Savior surrounded by family on January 7, 2024, in Weatherford, Texas. Sally was born on June 10, 1939, in Dublin, Texas to her parents Irene (DeBusk) and Thomas Elmer Thackerson.

Sally was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and most of all a great friend. Her presence would always ignite a room. She loved her family dearly and spent all the time she could.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer, and Irene Thackerson, husband, Guy Jackson, sisters, Fay Gooch, Flo Allen, and Juanita Davis, granddaughter, Daini Grissom, daughter-in-law, Brenda, and her ex-husband, Ray Grissom.

Sally is survived by her four children, Rayanna Lewis, Clifton (Paco) Grissom, Jeff Grissom, and Melanie Henley; brothers, Elmer (Pete) Thackerson, and Sonny Thackerson; sisters, Artie Mohler, and Nora Carter; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations towards the funeral costs.

Visitation will be held prior to services on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Greens Creek Baptist Church beginning at 1:00pm.

Services will be held at Greens Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00pm.

Interment to follow at Upper Greens Creek Cemetery.
