Allen Z Fine of Arlington, Texas passed away surrounded by family on June 11, 2023, at the age of 88. Allen was born on July 23, 1934, to his parents James and Retha Fine in Dublin, Texas. Allen graduated from Dublin High School and proceeded to receive a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. After receiving his degree, he later joined The United States Corps of Engineers. Allen was a loving Christian husband and a loving father. We all thank the Lord for him!

Allen is preceded in death by his parents, James Abraham Fine and Retha Elizabeth Christian, his sisters, Josephine Allen, Billie Jene Mayes, Retha Elizabeth Carter, Patsy Sue Harrell, and brothers, James, Hendrix, Earl, and Morgan Fine.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Katharine Beatrice Howell Fine, daughter, Denise Herring and husband Jerry, son, Mark Fine and wife Debbie, son, Bruce Fine, his grandchildren, Wesley Thedford, Michelle Webb, Corey Fine, great-grandchildren, Caroline Webb, Elizabeth Fine, Josiah Fine, Derek Cooper Thedford and wife, Madeline, and Michael Eckert Thedford.

Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Upper Greens Creek in Dublin, Texas at 10:30am.
